Applied Ergonomics provided interior design finish selections and materials, as well as furniture and art, for our clients’ headquarters project, and did a great job. They respected and enhanced the building that we had designed. The project was a very challenging endeavor as it involved an existing two-story building originally designed as a racquetball club that was being used as a gym. The building was entirely gutted with only perimeter walls remaining. An entire second floor level was added, and the building was redesigned for office headquarters use. Jeff Meltzer was involved throughout the process and helped make the project a success even through the challenges of the Covid pandemic. In the end the client was very pleased with how the space turned out. We look forward to working again with Jeff and his team on a future project.
We interviewed multiple firms to redesign and refurnish portions of our Engineering and Sales office areas, and I knew that we wanted to work with Applied Ergonomics. The caliber of their work, and their presentations that allowed us to envision the outcomes, were superior. They turned out to be the perfect choice. They listened, asked the right questions, and interpreted our changing vision, making multiple revisions to meet our requirements. When we planned our 180,000 square foot headquarters and prototype production facility in Phoenix, we did not include the furniture plan in the architect’s scope. I wanted to find a firm to work with that was expert in ergonomics and general office furniture and found that in Applied Ergonomics. Being in a business dedicated to reducing climate change, we also appreciated Applied Ergonomics’ focus on sustainability. They worked with us on spec for a year as we developed our plan, going through multiple iterations and last-minute changes. They did all of the interior design and product selection for the building. Their work and customer service, as well as the quality of the products they have provided us, has been top-notch. We grew from the initial 200 employees to over 1100. For one small expansion phase we worked with a highly rated local dealer, but went back to Applied Ergonomics, as everything that they did for us was simply better. Working long-distance most of the time was not an issue. I can’t say enough good things about Applied Ergonomics.

As a purchaser it is imperative that we receive quality and timely products at the best price possible. We had a few minor issues, but they were resolved to our satisfaction. I made an appointment with Jeff, the owner, who was absolutely amazing. He helped me find the perfect chair and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Although it is obviously more lucrative for Jeff to work with customers who are outfitting an entire office rather than buying just one chair, he made me feel welcome and spent a great deal of time having me try out different brands and models to make sure I got something that was very comfortable and supportive. My daughter, who was with me, was so impressed with Jeff's knowledge that she too decided to get fitted for a chair and also purchased an adjustable stand-up desk. My daughter lives in LA and he spent a lot of time finding the most cost-effective way to have her desk and chair shipped to LA and delivered by a service where she could schedule a date and time that was convenient for her.
