Applied Ergonomics has been my go-to furniture supplier for the better part of 20 years, but they are more than that. Jeff and his staff work with me during an entire project from planning, layouts, designs, placing and tracking orders and post follow-ups. No stone is left unturned when it comes to a full-service company. When I take on a new office project, regardless of what market we are working in across the country, I turn over the blank floor plan to Jeff and he can help with designing the space basically from the ground up with state-of-the-art, high-end furniture, or just good basic office furniture, depending on the project needs. Their resources seem endless. I have worked with Applied Ergonomics on projects ranging from small branch offices to our corporate headquarter with multiple floors. The attention to details and quality is crucial when it comes to opening or redesigning new office space. I have and will always recommend Applied Ergonomics when the opportunity presents itself. Applied Ergonomics provided interior design finish selections and materials, as well as furniture and art, for our clients’ headquarters project, and did a great job. They respected and enhanced the building that we had designed. The project was a very challenging endeavor as it involved an existing two-story building originally designed as a racquetball club that was being used as a gym. The building was entirely gutted with only perimeter walls remaining. An entire second floor level was added, and the building was redesigned for office headquarters use. Jeff Meltzer was involved throughout the process and helped make the project a success even through the challenges of the Covid pandemic. In the end the client was very pleased with how the space turned out. We look forward to working again with Jeff and his team on a future project.

When we planned our 180,000 square foot headquarters and prototype production facility in Phoenix, we did not include the furniture plan in the architect’s scope. I wanted to find a firm to work with that was expert in ergonomics and general office furniture and found that in Applied Ergonomics. Being in a business dedicated to reducing climate change, we also appreciated Applied Ergonomics’ focus on sustainability. They worked with us on spec for a year as we developed our plan, going through multiple iterations and last-minute changes. They did all of the interior design and product selection for the building. Their work and customer service, as well as the quality of the products they have provided us, has been top-notch. We grew from the initial 200 employees to over 1100. For one small expansion phase we worked with a highly rated local dealer, but went back to Applied Ergonomics, as everything that they did for us was simply better. I just wanted to take the time to thank all of you for your excellent work at our Belcamp facility. I know the immense amount of time you put in and your efforts really show. As a purchaser it is imperative that we receive quality and timely products at the best price possible. Ordering post pandemic from many companies has created delays, back orders, and increased prices. Applied Ergonomics was able to complete our install at the agreed upon price and in a timely fashion. We had a few minor issues, but they were resolved to our satisfaction. My physical therapist recommended that I buy a really good chair to prevent or reduce the lower back pain I get when sitting at my desk for a long time. The brand she recommended was sold at only one place in the Chicago area and I was incredibly lucky that the retailer happened to be Applied Ergonomics. I made an appointment with Jeff, the owner, who was absolutely amazing. He helped me find the perfect chair and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Although it is obviously more lucrative for Jeff to work with customers who are outfitting an entire office rather than buying just one chair, he made me feel welcome and spent a great deal of time having me try out different brands and models to make sure I got something that was very comfortable and supportive. My daughter, who was with me, was so impressed with Jeff's knowledge that she too decided to get fitted for a chair and also purchased an adjustable stand-up desk. Jeff's help didn't stop with the fitting. My daughter lives in LA and he spent a lot of time finding the most cost-effective way to have her desk and chair shipped to LA and delivered by a service where she could schedule a date and time that was convenient for her. My daughter and I were amazed how friendly and accommodating Jeff was. We would highly recommend Applied Ergonomics to anyone looking for higher-end chairs and desks and the service to match.
